Established as Astrakhan Oil Corporation Limited in the Republic of Cyprus, the Company was formed as a strategic energy platform designed to facilitate cross-border petroleum trade and asset participation between the Caspian basin and global markets.
From its earliest formation, Astrakhan Oil Corporation Limited adopted a deliberate, forward-structured model—combining corporate flexibility with access to upstream opportunities and downstream monetization channels across Eurasia.
Over time, the Company transitioned from a transactional trading vehicle into a fully integrated energy participant, aligning capital deployment with physical assets and long-term supply structures.
Upstream Development & Resource Strategy
Astrakhan Oil Corporation "AOC" is a holder of the RT Government prize for quality in 2016 - 2021 and a diploma winner of the RT government competition in the field of quality in 2018 as well as in 2023
In collaboration with established regional operators, including the Russian state owned Gazprom, AOC continues to strengthen and expand its resource base as a core strategic priority.
A resilient and diversified resource portfolio remains fundamental to ensuring continuity of supply, operational stability, and the sustained achievement of targeted hydrocarbon production volumes. Through structured participation in upstream projects, the Company maintains disciplined exposure to producing assets while preserving flexibility in its broader trading operations.
AOC supports and participates in ongoing exploration and field development activities, contributing to the consistent replenishment of oil and gas reserves across its areas of engagement.
